My Best Christmas Gift Ever... & Holiday Gifts for You!

Whether Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Noche Buena, Christmas, Kwanza, New Years, Día de los Reyes, or Octavitas celebrations fill your calendar this Dec/Jan, it's the most busy (I mean wonderful) time of the year!

Growing up, our Christmas Day celebrations were complicated by one important factor... my red headed little brother is a Christmas Baby:

I can only imagine how awful it was for him to watch his bully of a big sister get presents on HIS birthday, but somehow he managed...

As we got older, December 25th became less and less about Santa and more and more about throwing together some sort of birthday celebration for my brother. Now the tides have turned again, and these days Santa gets center stage as we spoil his kiddos and mine.

Still, wherever I am, I do my best to call my brother at midnight on December 25th to wish him a Happy Birthday!!

And to remind him that even though I really loved that bike Santa left for me on the day he was born, I still think he's the best Christmas gift I've ever gotten.
