June 2018 Wins

June was an amazing month for my writing life 🙏🏽❤️

During spring I geared up to launch the Taller Salud Fundraiser and to take a more intentional approach towards my writing projects and writer life.

One thing that helps me stay motivated when I am juggling a dozen or so projects and goals in the air is to do regular check ins and happy dances over the projects that have gotten checked off or have moved forward.

I thought I’d share my monthly check in / celebration with you this month, in the hopes that it will inspire YOU to check in and celebrate your own June wins!

• On June 5th I voted, on June 30th our family participated in the Long Beach #FamiliesBelongTogether March, and throughout the month I called each of my representatives encouraging them to push for an end to Families separations and unnecessary detention.
  
  
• ​On a more personal note I made it to yoga a few times this month AND I found a dress to wear for my brother’s wedding this summer 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
