#Muse19 & You Need a Website

Besides attending AWP at the end of this month (read more about that here), I'm also excited to be heading to some of my old stomping grounds to present at GrubStreet's The Muse & The Marketplace conference.

I haven't been to Boston, where I lived for three years after college, in years and I can't wait to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.

I'm especially excited to share my presentation on First Author Websites:

Setting Intentions to Make the Most of YOUR Conference Experience

I've created the handy worksheet below to help YOU get your own conference planning on! (BTW: whether you're going to AWP or just wishing you had an upcoming conference, I think you'll find it useful):

Picture Books: Women's History Month & International Women's Day!

Happy Women's History Month and International Women's Day (3/8)!

For this edition of Comelibritos' Corner (Little Bookworm's Corner), I've compiled picture books that celebrate extraordinary women for you to share with the littles in your life. Add some of these to your collection and enjoy them all year round!
Picture
The books below are organized in four categories:
  • Board Books Celebrating Extraordinary Women
  • Picture Books Celebrating Extraordinary Women
  • Picture Book (Auto)Biographies of Puerto Rican Women
  • More Picture Book (Auto)Biographies.

The titles with a (*) next to their names are books I own or have taken out of the library and can recommend first hand. The rest are titles I think sound interesting and I'm planning to check out myself soon.

Happy Reading! & ¡Que Vivan Las Mujeres!
