Li Yun's November 2018 Newsletter
My birthday month zoomed on by (I didn't even get that massage!). I am, however, happy to report that the website is coming along nicely (more on that below).
I don't know about you, but election day is on my mind. Can you believe midterms are finally on Tuesday?
I, for one, am both super anxious and cautiously optimistic...
A few weeks back, I shared this message on my personal Facebook page:
I told my cousin's daughter about the ACLU summer institute last year, she went, and now she is telling her friends to register to vote before the deadline on her instagram. She's only a junior in HS and can't vote herself--yet!
I'm inspired by my cousin's daughter and all of the young people who are stepping up and letting their voices be heard.
At the same time, I know they need us to do our part. So here I am doing mine.
If you're anything like me, the ACLU (and other orgs) have been in your text messages non-stop, but just in case you never signed up for those mobile alerts, I'm including links below to the ACLU's Voter Guides. Consult & share with those you love!
I've also included a quick personal update, website update, and blog update below. Enjoy!
Abrazos Fuertes, Stay Hopeful, and Happy Voting!
PS How do you feel about New Year's Resolutions? Hit reply and let me know. Thanks!
